Development in other languages

I've worked in both Visual Basic (.NET environment) and in XML, as stand-alone projects and as a component of a website that will need to be frequenly updated with changing information, such as hourly schedules. In Visual Basic, I have experience creating apps, using the GUI interface and creating the code to run the app myself (and thinking about math the way that a computer does is an education in itself).

None of these uses are terribly suited to portfolioing, particularly since the site that uses XML as its framework is available on the 'sites' page, but they are available on request if interested.
